Avocado Hummus and Turkey Bacon Sandwich


ingredients

ripe, fresh Hass avocado, halved, pitted, peeled and sliced

slices whole grain bread
1/2
cup
reserved Avocado Hummus (see recipe)
8
strips cooked turkey bacon
1
beef steak tomato, cut into slices
1/4
cup
alfalfa sprouts (optional)
Instructions 
  1. Spread bread with Avocado Hummus.
  2. Layer each with 2 strips of bacon, 1 to 2 slices of tomato and 2 to 3 slices avocado.
  3. Top with sprouts and remaining bread slice.
Note: Large avocados are recommended for this recipe. A large avocado averages about 8 ounces. If using smaller or larger size avocados adjust the quantity accordingly.
